History[edit]

This town has a lot of history, both as the seat of the Spanish government of Alta Louisiana and as the estimated epicenter of some of the largest earthquakes in North America. I'm working on a section now. -- Jim Redmond 18:46, 5 November 2003 (UTC)

Pronunciation[edit]
