Monopoly encourages capitalism? I always thought that Monopoly satirized real estate moguls, railroad barons and other monopolists. After all it did take off in the Great Depression, and then there's the caricature of Rich Uncle Pennybags, and of course the title, "Monopoly." It's not like they named it Captains of Industry. it is cool. NTK 19:39, 7 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Although there are many references in the external links section, I think each statement of the article should cite sources 04:33, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

Modified celebrity names[edit]

On the ghetto and redneckopoly websites, they use celebrity names for false endorsements that are modified so that the real-life celebs can't sue, but the difference is only within a letter or two. Sometimes they use entirely different names that rhyme exactly with the real names, such as:
